There is Restoration in the Elevation

A few months ago, the Holy Spirit spoke clearly to my heart to fast and pray the last three weeks of June for ELEVATION. This instruction was about me, but also about you too. As you’ve probably noticed, there have been several prophetic words in recent weeks about ELEVATION, all to simply affirm and confirm the desire of the Lord to bring His upgrade to you and through you.

I then invited a team to fast and pray with me as we presented our hearts to the Lord for this very word ELEVATION. I had the sense we needed to pray together at the noon hour, but I didn’t understand why. And then I came across a “blueprint,” so to speak, in the book, ‘Prayers that Move Mountains’ by Apostle John Eckhardt. It describes the blessings of engaging in mid-day prayer along with some key declarations.

Declare with me now:

Habakkuk 3:19

The LORD God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds’ feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine HIGH PLACES.

Ps 87:5

The Highest Himself shall establish me.

Is. 49:11

God will make my mountains a road, and my highways will be elevated.

Is. 40:9

I will get up into the high mountain. I will lift my voice and say to the cities, “Behold your God.”

We also break the midday curse:

Deut. 28:29

I am redeemed from the curse at midday

Ps. 91:6

I am redeemed from destruction at midday

Whenever God takes you to a higher place, He will first take you to a lower place. It’s a kingdom principle and a test of the heart for readiness. “But those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted (Matt. 23:12).” Fasting and prayer are both a posture of humility, and this word does require our humility.

Will you ELEVATE?

Are you a person whom God has anointed and appointed for front-line ministry and leadership, but you can’t handle it? Do you shy away from leading roles and from being out front? Do you struggle to say YES to God’s upward call?

I know exactly how you feel. Keep in mind that I’m the person who prefers to sit on the back row and remain hidden. Being a back-row hider, however, was never God’s plan for me.

Know this! Being invisible is not humility, but doing the will of God is. It’s time to ELEVATE and want what He wants you to want. Nations are depending on it.

Still, you can’t elevate without this one thing.

Intimacy with the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit is visiting His church with a love so deep that it goes beyond words. He will catch you off guard with His visitation and then leave you undone. You’ll be ruined for everything you thought you knew about the love of God. It’s an intoxicating kind of love that turns your NO into a YES. You’ll fight any battle for the Lord as He directs you, because His love in you will prove stronger than any threat against you.

He is saying to me and to you, “RISE UP, MY DARLING” because it’s time to rise up and elevate into your true calling (SS 2:10 NLT).

The Anointing for Upgrade: King David was called by God to be the king of Israel. He was anointed three times along the journey. At each anointing, however, he was upgraded. You too will receive an anointing for upgrade.

Our flesh and the Holy Spirit are perpetually at war (Gal. 5:17). Fasting puts down our flesh to receive the anointing of the Spirit. Through fasting, you are no longer resistant. You are too weak to resist! Once you are weak enough, He can make His move:

* He anoints you

* It’s powerful

* You feel different

* You think different

* Your heart changes

Angels Are Sent Ahead to Prosper Your Way

The strangest things happen when God elevates you. It’s because God releases His angels to prosper your way (Gen. 24:40). Because of the angels, doors will open that you never tried to open. Opportunities come that you never manipulated or sought out. Important people will have a dream or vision about you and then come looking for you. It really does work that way.

I Saw the Angels of Elevation

Just recently, I saw several angels in our church sanctuary during our worship service. Actually, I felt them at first. They felt like balls of electric energy throughout the room. Pretty soon, however, I could also see them. They looked about 5 or 6 feet each in height, all of them had wings, and they radiated with God’s light. I asked the Holy Spirit what they were there for. He said, “These are the ANGELS OF ELEVATION.”

When We Pray, Angels Come

The Bible describes a powerful scene wherein Jesus prays and heaven opens (see Luke 3:21). What does it look like when heaven opens? Genesis 28 describes a dream that Jacob had. In the dream, he saw a ladder between heaven and earth with angels ascending and descending on the ladder. When he awoke from the dream, he realized its significance and called the location of the dream Bethel, proclaiming it the “house of God” and the “gate of heaven” (see Genesis 28:12-15). When heaven opens, the angels ascend and descend between heaven and earth. Jesus referred to this when He told Nathanael he would see the angels ascending and descending on the Son of Man, referring to Himself (see John 1:51).

Finally, we know that prayer releases angels on our behalf and angels bring answers to prayer (see Daniel 10:12). We also see prayer as the vehicle to open heaven in the first place, causing the angels to come and go from that location. I believe this explains why God envisioned His house to be a house of prayer for all nations. God wants to open heaven over a region and to release the angels on assignment to assist the church in expanding His Kingdom.

It’s That Simple

Angels come when we pray. We’ve been fasting and praying for elevation at God’s divine instruction. Angels have now been released to administer those prayers.

There is Restoration in the Elevation

Far too often, we experience a loss in the elevation. For example, people around us can’t go where we are going and a painful separation can occur. Others become jealous of our elevation and turn from us instead of towards us with encouragement. Or, to go up we end up leaving something behind, something we really wanted to keep, but could not.

This season of elevation will be different. Instead of losing something, you will recover something. King David experienced a season where he “recovered all” (I Sam. 30:8). He is doing a significant work, a miraculous work, of restoration and recovery. This will be shocking!

I received this prophetic word at my last SEERS & PROPHETS INSTITUTE about restoration and I believe it still applies now:

I will give you back what you lost (Joel 2:25)

I will restore double for your trouble

I will restore your joy

I will restore you to greater honor and greater comfort (Ps 71:21)

I will restore your life

I will restore your prosperity

I will restore your position

I will restore you to good standing

I will restore your health

I will restore your mind

I will restore your land and your family, your fields, vineyards, and homes

I will restore YOU!

In addition, I prophesy to your dead places. I command resurrection life to your soul. He restores your soul! I command resurrection life to your heart. He heals the broken hearted! You will feel again! You will have joy again! You will laugh again! I speak to those with derailed callings – Get back on track! Hope again! Begin again! I see light and new life entering your dark, dead places. Get ready to experience new beginnings.

There is a rest in restoration. He’s putting things to rest. He is giving us restoration in the elevation. Instead of losing things, you will recover things. Instead of losses, will be gains and re-gains. In your elevation will be restoration. Are you ready to elevate?
